Back from the Seminar on Technology in Education & Vacation Time!

I went to Royal Adelphi in Seremban for this seminar. The seminar is great. Many good research were presented.

I have some great time with the kids too. They have no vacation for quite some time now and due to this school holiday we take the time off and have a blast. We also visited a relative in Seremban.

This relative is very rich, with over 1M dollar mansion. We were treated satay(barbecued chicken or meat) even though it was late (10PM). Me & my wife is outta cash and the sad thing is Domino Pizza won't accept cash. We've ordered a special, which is 2 large pizza, chicken wings & a bottle of coke & they asked for cash. By the way it costs RM50, we are short of money. Hmm...pizza parlours like Pizza Hut, US Pizza etc will usually accept credit card but not DOmino.

Anyway, my kids were hungry and I feel a little bit embarassed. Anyway thank God, when we came to our rich relative home, we had satay and some rice. The dishes includes Rusa meat which is really nice. What is Rusa in English? not too sure.

So we had a full stomach and the kids were happy. I need to dig into( borrow for a while heheh) my kids Duit Raya/Ang Pow...hehe. Seems like there are just many months left at the end of the money ehh..heheh..

NGV Community Forum - to save on petrol

NGV Community Forum There's a section for newbies & advanced users. Our Friend Hadzley have been using it for 1 month ++, and he was extremely satisfied with the mileage. However there's a problem with pick-up. He use 1.6 Ford, and he hardly overtake a lorry on teh highway. But as you know lorry in Malaysia has the same speed limit like any othe rvehicles, and they drive pretty fast too. You can check out the forum & learn more. I'm thinking of adding NGV to my old (but still beautiful..ehem) Saga 1.5. He only need RM4 from Melaka to UPM. it's a pretty darn good deal. However the initial cost is RM3000 new & RM1500 used. So have to theink abt the ROI.

The awesome Bugatti Veyron.

I am watching this super duper super car Bugatti Veyron here. I got the link from this top documentary film website, http://topdocumentaryfilms.com/bugatti-veyron-super-car/ . Really cool. More than 400km/h in 2.5 seconds and 2.2 seconds to make it stop to a complete stop. Wow wow wow. On the other side Proton created a working electric vehicle already and sent it to JPM for trying it out. Read details here . When can we buy it? I hope it can get >20 km/l as Honda Insights or Toyota Prius. But I saw a charging station needed. I would prefer the EV like Honda Insights or Toyota Prius, with petrol and battery. There’s no need for a charging battery station. Did Proton make a wrong move? What if there’s no more juice in the car and there’s no charging station around? Anyway, enough for today. Later…
