Aduss parah2, semalam ambik kawan dari Malaysia dtg ke Melbourne ni, so tak dapat nak jenguk PhD sangat. Dengan masalah anak nak pindah sekolah la. Masalah anak makin malasssss nak solat. Kena suruh bagai nak rak tak pergi2 solat. Alamak lari topik ( lain kali citer k). Ok ok hari ni dapat atas kerusi aku di ofis, kena provide sorang panel penilai tu dgn updated softcopy. i.e all in one document. Aku ada 4 appendixes ni. Nak kasi softcopies takde masalah, tapi yang dia nak update tu. Dah la komen pakai pensil tak tajam, tak jelas, tulisan pun serupa cakar ayam je. perit lah aku nak update macam ni. Pastu kalau nak update mesti aku kena go over my two supervisors. Adusss pening lagi. Banyak la back and forth. Panel tu raise some good questions. Looks like he’s very experienced lah. He got students under him doing PhD circa 1970’s. I was not even born yet on some of those years hehehe… But dia cuma Prof Madya je kat sini. Aiyakkk susah sgt ke nak dpt prof kat uni melbourne ni? Since my Ratna’s laptop is already slowing down for reasons not known to me ( after a lot of attempts to understand the root cause), I get a new Dell  laptop (again). It’s looking good with shiny black colour. It got the new windows 7 though which is quite a lien to me. I was not using Vista at all, so the transition from the mighty ubiquitous XP to the soon to be mighty windows 7 is something I may have problem with. Furthermore my filing structure is all in this little Acer laptop. I hope to learn a lot about windows 7, and use it’s advanced feature during the weekend and give this small little Acer to its rightful owner…ahemm which is my RA cum PA my other half. ;) My dell is black, like Henry Ford use to say...

Syukur alhamdulillah, pada Isnin 14 December 2009, aku berjaya dalam proses confirmation candidacy aku. Puhh lega memang lega segala macam punya lega. The confirmation process should be earlier but due to exploratory data which is still being collected, it was a bit delayed. I was delayed for about 2 and 1/2 month. Ia juga berpunca daripada timing yang tidak sesuai drp panel penilai. Tapi dah settle alhamdulillah. Aku ada bernazar dalam detik2 mencemaskan bila panel dan supervisors bersidang selepas aku present dan ‘viva’ supaya nak kasi AUD50 ~ RM150 kepada persatuan anak yatim atau sebagainya. Aku rasa baik di Malaya sebab ianya lebih besar nilainya di Malaya, dan aku nak menolong orang susah Malaya. Kat sini Aussie dah cukup di tolong oleh gomen depa. Aku nak ucap terima kasih juga pada isteri tercinta, Ratna( lagu Ratna ku di background…jiwang ni heheh) yang banyak membantu berkenaan isu PhD ni. Sememangnya beliau seorang researcher yang hebat.
