Hyundai wants to break into luxury market, something Proton should emulate.

Hyundai is following Honda (Acura) and Toyota (Lexus) by offering Equss. In it, Hyundai offer to equip it with Ipad. Might be a good selling point, who knows.

But as the comments said in this news article that  Hyundai got no prestige or class. But previously Honda and Toyota got no class or prestige also right?

Proton should emulate this. A more expensive cars using Lotus. This makes good sense. Now Proton won’t have to compete with lower standards cars from China but keep moving its models to become cover more expensive ranges. That way, it’ll be  less manufacturing and more profits.
